Blood collection procedures
Venipuncture
Capillary collection
Specimen handling
Infection prevention and safety
Patient identification
Proper use of phlebotomy equipment
Professional communication
Workplace expectations
A Smaller Training Environment
Pulse Point Allied Healthcare provides training in a smaller learning environment where students can ask questions, participate, and receive hands-on instruction.
Our focus is straightforward: teach practical skills, provide meaningful training, and help students prepare for entry-level healthcare opportunities.
Wisconsin ETPL-Listed Training
Pulse Point Allied Healthcare's Phlebotomy Technician Training Program is listed on Wisconsin's Eligible Training Programs List. Individuals participating in eligible workforce programs may be able to use WIOA training funds toward approved training.
WIOA funding is not automatic. Eligibility and funding decisions are made through the appropriate workforce agency and Career Planner. Students currently working with a Career Planner should discuss training approval before enrolling.
For Career Planners & Community Partners
Pulse Point Allied Healthcare welcomes referrals from workforce development professionals, Career Planners, community organizations, and programs helping individuals prepare for employment.
